Life Story for Joseph C. Falzon

Joseph C.  Falzon
Joseph Carmelo Falzon, 71, died in the early morning hours on Thursday, February 2, 2017, comforted by his wife and family, at his home in New York, NY after a long battle with cancer.

Born on June 11th, 1945, in Lija, Malta, Joe was the son of the late Saviour and Rita Fenech Falzon. Joe moved to the United States with his family in 1959. He worked as a building superintendent in Manhattan for the past 31 years and was an active volunteer and member of the Epiphany School community, having been inducted into their Hall of Fame in November 2016.

He leaves his wife of 40 years, Rose (Mendez) Falzon; their children Christina Falzon and her partner Germain Difo and Jessica (Falzon) Woodall and her husband Shane; his sons Danny Falzon and Eric Falzon and his wife Dewan; 6 grandchildren: Tevin, Aaron, and Madison Falzon, Lily and Ella Woodall, and Eve Difo. Joe is also survived by his sister Marie Falzon, his brother Lewis and his wife Barbra Falzon, his brother Salvatore and his wife Justina Falzon, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends.

In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brother Charlie Falzon and his sister Yvonne Falzon.

Friends may call, Sunday Febuary 5th from 1-6PM at Reddens Funeral Home, 325 West 14th Street, New York, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 6th at 10am in the Church of the Epiphany, 234 E 22nd Street and 2nd Avenue.
