For decades, Maurice and Marilyn owned and managed the critically acclaimed French restaurant, Le Vert Galant at 109 W. 46th St. in Manhattan. When not serving up superb French cuisine to a packed restaurant, Maurice and Marilyn vacationed in France and spent quality time with the Hemery family. Ahead of her time, Marilyn was a self-made entrepreneur and enterprising woman. She spent the past thirty years invested in and representing prominent US based health and nutrition companies.

Marilyn’s interests included spending time with her family, watching football on Sundays, following her beloved NY Yankees, civic activism and discussing US politics and world affairs. She was a phenomenal bowler and played in a league in Elizabeth, NJ where she was the top scorer and league individual champion, more than once.
