One Name, One Company, One Standard of Care

What does this mean, and why is it important?

Often, you will see multiple funeral home names at one building location.  Either, they represent separate businesses owned by different proprietors, or more frequently, it is the same ownership operating under different names or funeral registrations.

Some funeral directors will establish multiple names under which to operate.  The reason may be to have different price schemes depending on which "funeral home" number you call.  Another reason may be to imply an affiliation with a particular ethnic, religious or community group. It can be confusing.  If you discover this situation, ask for the reason.

Here at Redden Funeral Home, we operate under one name.  We are one company offering the same care to those we serve of any ethnic or religious background.  Although we are located in the Greenwich Village/Chelsea sections of New York City, we do not limit our service to any one community.
