Condolences

Condolence From: Paula and Eric Crabb
Condolence: Margaret was a true friend and a true nurse. She excelled in both roles and will be missed more than words can say. Eric and I were fortunate to have Margaret in our lives for so many years. I first met her when I joined the Lombardi Team at Saint Vincents Hospital and we have been fast friends ever since. She was present at so many of our life's important moments and was a member of our wedding party. We treasured her friendship and were in awe of her strength and dignity as she fought for life. When that was not to be, Margaret called us to say goodbye with that same strength. We will never forget you, Margaret. We love you and you are here in our hearts always. Our deepest sympathy to her devoted brother, Ed.

Condolence From: Debora DB Bailey
Condolence: I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Weber family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eliminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). Condolence: There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea. But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be. I met Margaret sailing in Maine 1983; before I met my husband and our children were born. We visited Margaret in her beloved New York where she took us around as a just married couple and again in 2000 as a family. She got the best bagels and told us the best way to get to see New York. Margaret was kind, a wonderful caring nurse and smart with a wicked sense of humor. She always called me when the Pats, Reds or Chicago teams were up against the New York teams in important competitions or say when the Cubs finally won the world series. And calls on the holidays to wish us well. I will miss her. We all cried Sunday at our home in Maine when we heard. I feel lucky to have spoke with her a few days before she left us. My love and prayers to Eddie and all Margaret's loved ones.

Condolence From: Ethelyn Labissiere Smyley
Condolence: Extending my dear sympathies to the Weber Family Margaret and I shared many experiences, having both been St. Vincent graduates, working those early years in the Cronin Building, then lateri in Endoscopy, running into each other through home care visits And our offices located next to each other. Sharing thoughts, hopes for our future plans. This all seems to have ended too quickly, so I pray on your behalf, dear Margaret, be at peace in God’s embrace. Your SVH friend, alums, Ethelyn
