Kathleen Gillette, 56, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Kathy was born on April 21, 1962, beloved daughter of Irene and the late Raymond Gillette. She graduated from St. Michael's High School in Manhattan and later worked for the United States Post Office of New York. Kathy had a very loving and generous heart and was always there for family and friends. She was very outgoing, loved her family immensely and had an extremely good sense of humor that would leave us with an everlasting smile on our faces and wonderful stories. She especially loved children as she had none of her own and also loved animals, in particular, German Shepherds, having owned two of them herself over the years. She would always attend the Blessing of the Animals Mass at Saint Francis of Assisi Church annually.

Kathy leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her beloved mother, Irene, loving sisters, Linda and her husband, Vinny Soldi, Janet Gillette McKenna, Irene and her husband, Danny Hanley, her adoring nieces and nephews, Jennifer and her husband Jon D'Amato, Nicole Soldi, Jimmy and Raeanne McKenna, Brianne, Danny, Skylar and Kallie Hanley, and her great niece and nephew, Gianna and Dominic D'Amato.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Saint Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 AM,135 West 31st Street, New York, NY 10001. Immediately following the Mass, Kathy will be joined with her beloved father, Raymond, at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers and her love of children, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
