Condolence: When the Grace from our True God lifts all suffering from this Earth: Then there will be endless blessings 'cause his Kingdom came to birth. That's when pain and death is banished, in its place ne'er ending praise. We'll be filled with joy and laughter and with knowledge of God's ways... ...and the death of your dear Michael, all your sorrow and all pain - every sadness and all mourning swiftly leave that very day. That's when Michael will awaken feeling good as ne'er before, 'cause he'll know that each tomorrow has much happiness in store... ...and we'll thank our gracious True God for his promise well fulfilled... And for giving life to mankind, Satan's grip forever stilled. This promise is found in the Bible at Revelation: 21:4,5 which says: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." And the one seated on the throne (God) said: "Look, I am making all things new," Also he says: "Write, for these words are faithful and true."

Condolence: "You want a physicist to speak at your funeral. You want the physicist to talk to your grieving family about the conservation of energy, so they will understand that your energy has not died. You want the physicist to remind your sobbing mother about the first law of thermodynamics; that no energy gets created in the universe, and none is destroyed. You want your mother to know that all your energy, every vibration, every Btu of heat, every wave of every particle that was her beloved child remains with her in this world. You want the physicist to tell your weeping father that amid energies of the cosmos, you gave as good as you got. And at one point you'd hope that the physicist would step down from the pulpit and walk to your brokenhearted spouse there in the pew and tell him that all the photons that ever bounced off your face, all the particles whose paths were interrupted by your smile, by the touch of your hair, hundreds of trillions of particles, have raced off like children, their ways forever changed by you. And as your widow rocks in the arms of a loving family, may the physicist let her know that all the photons that bounced from you were gathered in the particle detectors that are her eyes, that those photons created within her constellations of electromagnetically charged neurons whose energy will go on forever. And the physicist will remind the congregation of how much of all our energy is given off as heat. There may be a few fanning themselves with their programs as he says it. And he will tell them that the warmth that flowed through you in life is still here, still part of all that we are, even as we who mourn continue the heat of our own lives. Let them know that they can measure, that scientists have measured precisely the conservation of energy and found it accurate, verifiable and consistent across space and time. You can hope your family will examine the evidence and satisfy themselves that the science is sound and that they'll be comforted to know your energy's still around. According to the law of the conservation of energy, not a bit of you is gone; you're just less orderly. Amen." -Aaron Freeman

Condolence: Dear Michael: I just found out about your passing away and I am heartbroken. You were a great friend and co-worker at Marymount. I will miss you so much and treasure all the years we have known each other. All our chats about our favorite tv shows, texts on Sundays, advice we'd give each other. Always such a happy guy and beautiful spirit. The last time I saw you, you were smiling and saying "have a great summer Nicole, see you soon". My condolences to your family, brother, mom and dad. I am praying. MMC wont be the same without you Michael. Love you always. Rest in Heaven.

Condolence: Mike I found out about your passing Saturday afternoon and I'm still in disbelief and processing that you're no longer with us. It really hit me once I got the info for your wake. You were my best friend in HS and I'll never forget the numerous memories that we shared together. From every wrestling event and PPV. I'll never forget it was you who took me to my first Knicks game. All those late night Dallas BBQ binges that we made were we tried to out drink each other with those Texas Sized pina coladas(I can only handle one now) lol. It brings me great pain that your mom Karen, father Michael, and brother Stephen have lost a son and brother who just turned 32. ITS TOO YOUNG! You deserved a better fate bro but I know you're up there in a better place. I love you and will never forget what you've done for me.

Condolence: There aren't enough words in all of the languages of the world to make sense of the sorrow in the hearts of those who have had their lives touched by Michael Patrick. It has been reminded to me, in moments of great despair and darkness, that we experience time as only simple beings can: one moment at a time, one joy at a time, one pain at a time. But we exist in God's time, which is eternal and everlasting. Today and in the days to come, we experience the pain of the loss of our brother, son and friend Michael. But in God's time we are already together again, gathered in love and in peace with all our family and friends. As we always have been, and will always be. With all of my love Baby Oobatz
