James (Jimmy) Francis Eustace died peacefully in his sleep at home in Manhattan, New York on March 21, 2022. Jimmy was born on January 10, 1933 in Murray Hill, where he was raised. He proudly served in the Korean War. He was a proud member of the Steamfitters Local Union 638. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma, and his children, Judy & Dennis Dunne, Jimmy & Kate Eustace and his stepchildren, Patricia & Martin DeSapio, Anne & Thomas Zona, and James Costello. He was dearly loved by his grandchildren, Jimmy & Clare Eustace, Mary & David Wodka, Christine, Kelly & Dennis Dunne, Billy, Alexis & Ryan DeSapio and Lucy, Thomas & Jane Zona. He was the dear brother-in-law of Danny Murphy and Kathleen Palazzolo. Loyal friend to many. Jimmy was known for gregarious personality, contagious smile and laugh and of course his great sense of style. He was a legend around Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village and will be greatly missed by many.
