Jim was born in the Bronx on September 6, 1937 , the eldest of seven children born to the late Michael Reidy and the late Margaret Lynch Reidy. He is predeceased by his sister, Ellen Reidy Clancy, and his brothers Michael Reidy and John Reidy. His sisters, Mary Reidy and Patricia Chesser, and his brother, William Reidy survive him.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Linda Reidy, and his devoted daughter,

Margaux Joan Reidy. He was a true New Yorker, and finally moved to Manhattan to fulfill his dream of living there. Linda and Jim had many wonderful years here, surrounded by family and close friends.

Jim had a wonderful thirty plus year career as a Manager -Steam Operations for Con Edison. He is a graduate of Manhattan College and a proud veteran of the US Army.

Jim loved life...and life returned the favor. His was a life well lived!
